Techno pioneer Richie Hawtin just completed a mentorship of three Epidemic Sound artists: The Yard Woman, Blue Saga, and dreem. They reunited in Lisbon to bring their partnership to life through a new EP, ‘Off the Grid’.

The year-long collaboration between Richie Hawtin and three Epidemic Sound artists — The Yard Woman, Maya Lourenço, and dreem — was part of Epidemic Sound’s mentorship series, The Bridge.
It culminated in the creation of a once-in-a-lifetime EP, combining our artists’ unique skills with Richie’s technical genius. Check it out below.

Richie Hawtin
Richie Hawtin, also known as Plastikman, is a pioneering electronic musician and technological innovator. He’s celebrated for pushing conceptual boundaries in performance, from his early Detroit techno roots to avant-garde electronica.
Hawtin founded labels like Plus 8 and MINUS, co-founded Beatport, and developed groundbreaking DJ technology like Final Scratch and PLAYdifferently.
Praised by The New York Times as an “intellectual force” and called “the Kraftwerk of today” by Raf Simons, Hawtin is a truly original figure in music and technology.
